A well formed band from Bicester. Reign UponUs have been causing enjoyable chaos on the music scene for years, gaining more and more fans, releasing an EP and performing all around Oxfordshire’s best venues and beyond. Made up of now 4 guys, each performing to distinction in METAL!
Adam, lead vocalist, produces sounds I never thought possible. His throat tightens around mental screams and, for such a small person, blows the audience away with his voice. He also manages to incorporate melodies in the middle of these metal pig squeals and throaty exhales. A truly applaudable front man. And one who knows how to encourage a crowd.
The guitarists, Goodall and Shunt (aka Jason and Steve), evolve themselves into centipede like creatures, using their fingers as feet to crawl all over their instruments and create such epic riffs. They are connected, as one on stage, harmonising and generating noise your ears crave to hear.
Karl has played his final show with the RUU boys and it was sad to see a talent leave. He is to pursue his musical career with another band, In Your Honour, but leaves behind big shoes that will be difficult to fill.
Finally on heavy percussion we find Darren. He fashions fast pounding beats to secure a tight sound that represents the future of metal.
This band have everything you could want. Heavy and intricate riffs, backed by awesome drumming and topped off with the intense vocalist.
