Rememberance day this year was celebrated by a sea of ceramic poppies surrounding one of London's most famous, and aesthetically beautiful, landmarks. Thousands of people flooded in to pay their respects 100 years on from WW1 and see this incredible sight. It was truly breathtaking. And all of that was sparked by an idea by someone who had a creative mind. One artistic thought lead to this historical, memorable and wonderfully moving exhibition. And you think creativity isn't important? Even the idea of the poppy is a woek of art!
Look around you, we are surrounded by the arts. It's on the cereal box you reach for each morning, it's the car you drive to work, the streets you walk down and buildings you see, it's that jacket you fancy on that stranger. Without the arts we would be a dull race. Without the arts millions of people wouldn't be inspired. Without the arts we would be a blank canvas, with no artist to create a scene worth sticking around for.
